Pieck’s power is easy to underestimate because it does not arrive with the spectacle of the Colossal explosion or the Armored charge. The Cart Titan is built for endurance, transport, and returning to the field after other Titans have spent themselves. Pieck matches that design with an observant, unhurried intelligence. She notices the political temperature of a room, remembers escape routes, and asks the question that exposes a plan’s weak seam.

Her four-legged form lets her carry weapons, supplies, and other soldiers across terrain where a human unit would be exposed. In Marley’s campaigns, that makes her less a single-use weapon than a mobile platform. The role comes with a different kind of emotional pressure: Pieck is expected to keep going, to be useful over a long distance, and to make difficult work look routine. Her loyalty to Marley is never as uncomplicated as military reports would suggest, especially after she sees how the state treats Eldian children as replaceable parts.

When the alliance forms, Pieck does not need a speech to justify the change. She has already spent years reading the cost of every side. At the port and during the final battle, the Cart Titan becomes a connective tissue between fighters: carrying weapons, buying time, and finding the angle that keeps another person alive. Pieck’s survival is not passive endurance. It is a refusal to let the people who designed her use her intelligence only for destruction.

Pieck’s loyalty is analytical rather than ceremonial. She knows Marley’s chain of command, recognises when a plan has begun to consume its own soldiers, and remains capable of affection without mistaking affection for proof that an institution is right. Her conversations with Gabi and Falco make the Warrior programme feel like a network of children being asked to perform adulthood. As a Cart shifter, she spends more time supporting other powers than receiving the dramatic centre of a frame. That imbalance is the point: the war depends on logistics, memory, and people who notice when the ammunition is running out. Pieck can transform repeatedly, but endurance is not infinite. Each return to the battlefield still costs her body. In the last charge, her tactical patience becomes a form of courage that does not need to look heroic to keep the alliance alive.

She turns patience into an active decision to remain human inside the machine. Her silence is not surrender; it is the space where she measures what a plan will ask of everyone who has been assigned to it.
